口譯初學者如何處理腦記和筆記？
由于通常信息發布是具有連續性的，譯員將注意力轉移到筆記上時可能會錯過某些信息點，所以譯員在接收信息時要做一些平衡，即在不重要的信息點上將注意力移開。因此，譯員必須具備分辨信息重要與否的能力，這對口譯效果的好壞起著非常重要作用。

而腦記方面，初學口譯的人，會遇到難以記下較長篇幅內容的困難。實驗表明，人的記憶力可以通過訓練得到改善。而口譯記憶能力的訓練有兩層含義，一是不靠筆記的強記訓練，二是靠筆記的筆記訓練。在強記訓練過程中記憶能力的訓練可通過對大量材料的短時記憶（聽--復述，聽--譯）以及形象記憶、邏輯記憶、連鎖記憶等方法來完成，使初學者逐步適應強記的規律。同時在記憶訓練中，初學者應學會在理解的基礎上進行記憶，也就是說，記住原語所表達的意思，而不是原語所使用的詞匯。口譯學習中也應加強筆記的系統訓練，同時還應該明確：筆記訓練只是強記訓練的一個補充，不要過于依賴筆記而影響到信息的攝入，忽視了提高自身語言能力。
